The BYU Cougar Hockey Team will be hosting Metro State University at the Peaks Ice Arena on Friday, October 10, 2008. This should be a great game following BYU's 13-4 win over University of Utah. We have lots of exciting activities planned including a shoot-out contest and Chuck-A-Puck with TONS of great prizes including gift certificates from Los Hermanos, PF Changs, Laser Assault, and more!

The BYU Cougar Hockey Team has been decided for the 2008/2009 season. You can view the current roster by checking out the team section of the website. As soon as we get photos taken they will be posted with full player biographies so you can get to know your Cougars better.

New Website Launched!

The BYU Hockey organization pleased to announce the launch of our new website in light of this year being the start of a "new era" of BYU Hockey. The site was designed and is being updated by Jodi Moore who is a freelance web site designer and a full-time mom. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact Jodi directly. Game results will typically be posted within a few hours of the game end time. Player statistics, team rankings, etc. will be updated on a regular basis. Team photos, video clips, etc. will be added as they are taken. We hope that you will enjoy the new site and that it fits the new image of BYU Hockey.
New Coaching Staff Announced

The BYU hockey team is thrilled to introduce Stan Weiss as the new head coach for the 2008/2009 hockey season. Also new to the coaching staff this year are assistant coach Joel Patrick and goalie coach Dave Spice. Detailed coach's biographies will be posted on the team page soon.
